Magnesium Cover Flux

Properties & Applications:

(1) Spread out and cover all over the surface of the magnesium molten, makes the melt isolated from air, preventing absorb H2, preventing magnesium alloys elements in the melt oxidized or burned up.

(2) Have both refining function and can remove the impurity and gas in the molten magnesium.

(3) Apply to protection treatment of magnesium alloys.

(4) No toxic gas or obvious smoke in the process. It is harmless to workers, equipments and environmental.

Operation Instructions:

(1) Operation method: Put the MF1 powder onto the surface of the molten copper.

(2) Dosage: Only cover all over the surface of the melt (0.6~1.5% of the total metal weight).

Package and Storage:

Appearance: white powder. 

2kg/polythene bag,20kg/carton.

Keep dry and ventilated.

Applied to smelting and casting industry of magnesium and its alloys. The products include Refining and Drossing flux ZS-MJ1 and Covering Flux ZS-MF1.
